As always, there were dresses that we loved and hated, but only a few of TV's leading ladies turned out to be risk takers, There were many women on the 2012 Emmys red carpet that looked absolutely gorgeous, but we've narrowed down the list to five women we think really stood out.
1. Kate Mara's dreamy Badgley Mischka dress and thick eyeliner tells us that she definitely read our New Romantics trend story.
2. Nicole Kidman was all ice princess perfection in a stunning Antonio Berardi column dress with sequined blue embroidery.
3. Zosia Mamet clearly reads our NYLON trend reports too because she showed up wearing not one, but three of them: A black and white Bibhu Mohapatra dress, sleek hair, and a strong brow to match.
4. Ginnifer Goodwin in a dress with a wonderful vintage feel to it.
5. Sofia Vergara resembled a sparkling mermaid in Zuhair Murad which featured a between the boobs cut-out and Hayden Panettiere.
